Who or what inspires you professionally?
All the great people. Some people f them are coworkers, some of them are friends. Some of them are my favorite athletes, scientists or just normal people who are strong, resilient and never give up.

Bio:
The Great Designer Xiao Wang is originally from China and has been living in the United States for seven years. Xiao has a Master of Architecture degree from Texas A&M. Xiao currently works at Perkins&Will Miami as a project designer, focusing more on the early stages of projects, with experience involving projects across a variety of disciplines and phases. Xiao loves parametric design and using grasshopper for work. Xiao is also a powerlifter and used to compete, outside of work, Xiao loves singing and reading books.
How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?
It was when I learned the story of the Falling Water of Frank Lloyd Wright in my English class textbook when I was 15
What do you do?
I do both design and construction. But more on the design side. I’ve worked on Hospitality, residential, commercial, civic and institutional buildings. Some of them are built.
What excites you in the work you do?
The challenge of delivering great design which can make our cities better places to live and to experience.

I have 3 built projects in China which already served thousands of people.
