Who or what inspires you professionally?
I am inspired professionally by my family and the many architects who laid the foundation for me to practice architecture today. Observing all phases for the construction of my parent’s home inspired me to research and pursue this profession.

With a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from North Carolina A&T University and a Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois, Vincent serves on LS3P’s K-12 design team and is well-versed in best practices for the design of state-of-the-art learning environments. How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?
I first learned about Architecture when my parents purchased their 2nd home, new construction on undeveloped land. I was in transition to 7th grade and was simply elated with the entire construction process. My four siblings were quite the opposite!
What do you do?
I am an Associate Principal with LS3P and serve in various roles while primarily operating as a Project Architect and Manager.
What excites you in the work you do?
I am excited about the built environment as whole, but daily I am energized by the interaction and collaboration with my colleagues, consultants, and clients. Together we create educational spaces where children want to be.
Who or what inspires you professionally?
I am inspired professionally by my family and the many architects who laid the foundation for me to practice architecture today. Observing all phases for the construction of my parent’s home inspired me to research and pursue this profession.
What is your proudest professional accomplishment or achievement?
My proudest professional accomplishment is betwixt and between receiving my license and the recurring joy I feel when a new school is completed to educate our future leaders.

This onsite replacement project for a beloved high school will serve as a community anchor and point of pride. The welcoming 21st century learning environment honors the original campus with carefully considered gathering areas, connections to the outdoors, and monumental elements such the courtyard, theater, and “omni” multiuse space which exhibit a sense of time-honored usage and grandeur. Community engagement in this close-knit but historically underserved area was integral to the design.
