Who or what inspires you professionally?
Honestly, all the women I’ve encountered in this profession. They’ve provided an unspoken support and encouragement that has inspired me to do and be more. I feel very lucky to have my SoFloNOMA ladies be a significant part of my growth.

How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?
I began my career in NYC at the HS for ConstructionTrades Engineering & Architecture. I was 15 when I obtained my first internship at an all-women firm focused on community driven projects. Many moons later I credit my career journey to that exposure
What do you do?
I am an Associate and Project Manager focused on hospitality and luxury single-family residential. Outside of my 9-5, I am a mentor and an active member of my South Florida and local architecture community.
What excites you in the work you do?
Being able to problem solve daily, knowing that an idea that was in a sketchbook or on trace will be something tangible just a short bit away. Knowing that the work I do has the potential to change how a family or community interacts with a space.
Who or what inspires you professionally?
Honestly, all the women I’ve encountered in this profession. They’ve provided an unspoken support and encouragement that has inspired me to do and be more. I feel very lucky to have my SoFloNOMA ladies be a significant part of my growth.
What is your proudest professional accomplishment or achievement?
I’m holding out on this one! I am a few short exams away from being a licensed architect. Until then, I am proud of the projects I’ve been able to see executed particularly the educational work I did early on in my career.
