Texas Based Designer

Who or what inspires you professionally?

When I decided to study architecture, I did not personally know any women architects. At the start of my career, I became accustomed to working in a male dominated environment. Today, I am in an office surrounded by very talented women of all ages!

What excites you in the work you do?

Our firm is focused on affordable housing design and improving our neighborhoods through thoughtfully designed housing communities. We also foster a collaborative, open office environment to support professional development within our team.

What is your proudest professional accomplishment or achievement?

To be the architect of record for the first time on a large multi-family affordable housing project. It was a challenging experience but I am so grateful to have the opportunity to be a part of the solution for housing the homeless.
