David Geffen Hall, home to the New York Philharmonic, features a ‘surround hall’ design, enhancing acoustics and intimacy. FMS played a crucial role in the lighting design, using light and shadow to accentuate the hall’s sculpted beech wood interior. Embracing color and light, the building becomes a theatrical experience for both patrons and pedestrians. Designed to be more accessible, the hall now integrates seamlessly into the city, ensuring a dynamic, immersive space for future generations.
