How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?
When I was an elementary student, I was fascinated by older buildings in my community. I grew to appreciate both historic and contemporary architecture for the impact made on individuals and culture, as well as the community as a whole.
What do you do?
Aa a Project Architect, I help make memorable spaces for clients and users of projects. I work with a team to turn ideas and dreams into unforgettable spaces.
What excites you in the work you do? Who or what inspires you professionally?
I love the collaborative process of architecture, the way multiple experiences and personalities work together to create something that will enrich the lives of others and hopefully provide a sense of community pride for years to come.
Who or what inspires you professionally? What is your proudest professional accomplishment or achievement?
Seeing the effects of architecture on those who work, live, and interact with the project has a profound impact on me and inspires me to create architecture that will enrich the lives of those who encounter it.
What is your proudest professional accomplishment or achievement?
One of my most proud moments was walking through a project immediately after opening and overhearing users discuss their initial impressions and appreciation for the space; seeing and hearing how excited the community is for a project.
