Who or what inspires you professionally?
Being able to create an interior workplace environment that stimulates the clients I serve. Also educating the new generation of Architects and Interior Designers in the architectural industry.

Bio:
The great architect, Kevin Sneed is a registered Architect with 30+ years of experience. His vast portfolio includes full-service architectural and interior design for large-scale clients consisting of corporations, associations, law offices, tech firms, healthcare clients, and government agencies. His career in architecture is a testament to his fervent involvement in a practice that extends beyond its intended boundaries, elevating his work in practice management through leadership, empowerment and public service.
How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?
When I was 8 years old, an Architect provided us with his “tools of the trade” during a career day at school. I was so fascinated with the Architect’s responsibilities and design skills that it created my love for the built environment.
What do you do?
My responsibilities entail leading and managing architecture projects. Drawing from my core-and-shell background, I also offer my expertise and experience in building code, construction administration, and design.
What excites you in the work you do?
Community government in the field of architecture. Becoming the “Citizen Architect” that would make my family and peers gratified.
Who or what inspires you professionally?
Being able to create an interior workplace environment that stimulates the clients I serve. Also educating the new generation of Architects and Interior Designers in the architectural industry.
What is your proudest professional accomplishment or achievement?
In the built environment, completing the American Legacy Foundation project. Professionally, receiving the 2004 AIA National Young Architects Award, and being elevated to the AIA College of Fellows in 2017.
