The great architect, Keerti Javali, a licensed architect in India and presently a Masters of Architecture 21' candidate at North Carolina State University, believes in the power of space making, as architecture stands still but still has the potential to move people. How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?

From very early on, I was intrigued by places and the unique character it held but never really could put a finger on it. It was only during my teenage that I learnt about architecture and decided this was my calling.

What do you do?

I am a Master of Architecture 21' candidate at North Carolina State University. I am presently working as Prof. Dana Gulling's TA and also as a graphic design intern for Poole College of Management.

What excites you in the work you do?

The power we hold to create an impact in the real world in something that excites me about my creative job.

What is your proudest professional accomplishment or achievement?

I am a person who enjoys small wins with the same enthusiasm as the big ones. My most recent professional accomplishment would be the nomination for Shawcroft prize & AIA triangle scholarship. This has motivated me to keep working hard.
