How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?
I remember sitting in built environments every day, whether it was my childhood home, my school, or my dentist office, and daydreaming about how to renovate the existing space for a new or different use, from a very young age.
What do you do?
As a principal at a small firm, I do everything. From negotiating with clients and pursuing private and public work, to designing, redlining, and drafting, I am actively involved in all aspects of the design process.
What excites you in the work you do?
Everything. I absolutely love working with clients, imagining the great things that a new space will provide to the clients, and watching their dreams turn into a reality in their new spaces.
Who or what inspires you professionally?
Simply put, nature and people are forces that inspire my work.
What is your proudest professional accomplishment or achievement?
I am the proudest of my work when I see people exist- ing in and enjoying a space that I designed.
