SAY IT LOUD - Nevada Exhibitor

Nevada Based Designer

Who or what inspires you professionally?

I find inspiration in the interactions I have with clients. I enjoy the challenge of learning about them, their roles and how they think about and use space.

Jenifer Panars

Bio:

The Great architect, Jenifer is an Architect in Las Vegas, Nevada and an Associate Principal at TSK Architects. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Michigan in 2007 and earned my Masters in Architecture from the UNLV in

2011. I am responsible for several of TSK’s largest public projects with a focus on K-12 and Higher Education projects in Southern Nevada. I have served on the AIA Las Vegas Board of Directors since 2014 and was awarded the AIA Nevada Young Architect Award in 2015.

How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?

I was first introduced to architecture as a teenag- er when my parents started working with a home- builder to design a new home. I was attracted to the idea that the drawings would become some- thing real and have a big impact on their lives.

What do you do?

I design public buildings by developing relation- ships with clients in order to produce thoughtful solutions. I become their expert advisor in build- ing development, and coordinate/produce all technical information turning design to reality.

What excites you in the work you do?

Seeing the buildings we design become part of the fabric of people’s lives. The buildings we cre- ate are visited by hundreds of people every day, so every interaction is an opportunity to impact people’s lives in a positive way.

Who or what inspires you professionally?

I find inspiration in the interactions I have with clients. I enjoy the challenge of learning about them, their roles and how they think about and use space.

What is your proudest professional accomplishment or achievement?

This project is my proudest professional achieve- ment. This is the largest, and by far the most com- plicated, project I have led to date. I am proud of the buildings, my team, and how well received they have been by CSN and the students who use them.
