JENELLE KUEHNE
Bio:
The Great designer, Jenelle got her start in Ohio, where she attended Kent State University and obtained a B-Arts degree in Interior Design and a B-Science in Architecture. While studying interiors at Kent, Jenelle spent a semester living in Florence, Italy and traveling Europe. After graduation, she relocated to Charlotte to start her design career. Jenelle is passionate about learning what clients see in the future for their environment and then translating that into a space unique to them and the end users.
How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?
From a young age, I always was sketching or painting the world around me, and always loved rearranging my room. Being from a very small town in Ohio, I was intrigued by large/unique buildings - I felt called to pursue design as my career.
What do you do?
I wear many hats. With degrees and experience in both Interiors and Architecture, I flex between the A + ID teams depending on project type/needs, serve as a mentor for high school kids in the area, and lead office culture efforts for our firm.
What excites you in the work you do?
I get excited about bringing our clients dreams to life, and impacting the community in a positive way. It is such a rewarding experience to see how happy a client is when their project is completed and they can move into their new space.

What is your proudest professional accomplishment or achievement?
Becoming a licensed architect! This has always been the ultimate goal of mine, and I was able to achieve my credentialing despite some really tough curve balls life was throwing at me.
