Who or what inspires you professionally?
Great leaders inspire me, even those who demonstrate strong leadership, although not in leadership positions. I’m inspired by leaders who know their people well, support growth, and create beautiful environments by being wonderful to be around.

How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?
After high school, I was looking for a way to combine my interests in science, math, and art. I attended a summer architecture camp at the University of Nebraska and loved it, officially cementing my passion for creating well-designed spaces.
What do you do?
I spend a lot of time listening. Sometimes the response is creating construction documents, sometimes it’s finding more questions to ask, and sometimes it’s planning the right steps to execute a successful project. After that, I listen again.
What excites you in the work you do?
My job is to support others in creating beautiful and functional spaces that work well for them. Along the way, I get to hear people dream about big ideas, and I get to help them achieve that dream. It’s always exciting, challenging and rewarding.

What is your proudest professional accomplishment or achievement?
Getting licensed was a large undertaking for me, requiring a lot of time, energy, and dedication. I will always be grateful for this incredible personal achievement.

Featured Project Description:
Milestone Health Partners was born when three doctors recognized a need to unite physical therapy and behavioral healthcare under one roof. Previously delivering services via home visits or in leased spaces, the doctors envisioned 12 private treatment rooms, two therapy gyms, and a large conference room for team-based evaluations. With contemporary materiality, natural light, and a Western mountain vernacular, the building ensures flexibility and provider collaboration for prime patient care.
