FREDERICK P. PERPALL
Bio:
Frederick P. Perpall is actively involved in his community. He is Chairman of the Dallas Citizens Council, on the board of directors of Dallas Medical Resource and a Director for Triumph Bancorp (TBK). A native of Nassau, Bahamas, Fred earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Master of Architecture at the University of Texas at Arlington. He is an alumnus of the 183rd class of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program and is a former Americas Fellow at The Baker Institute at Rice University. In 1996, the great architecy began his career in design and construction, has been a registered architect since 2003, and was elected to the prestigious American Institute of Architects (AIA) College of Fellows in 2016. He is a part of the AIA Large-Firm Roundtable, and previously served as ex-Chairman of the Urban Land Institute’s Urban Plan. He is also a former Director at the Georgia AIA. Currently, as the CEO of The Beck Group, Fred Perpall leads the firm's domestic and international design, planning, real estate consultancy, and construction businesses. His main focus is on driving firm strategy, communicating their vision to clients, selecting and developing the senior team, allocating capital and managing growth. He notes that “occasionally I still get to design, and this is fun for me too.” Known for his creative mind and innovative thinking, Fred brings a highly energetic and communicative style to his clients, projects and the Beck family.

Princess Margaret Hospital represents the single largest investment in healthcare by the government since the hospital was built nearly 60 years earlier. Beck’s design improves access to critical care beds for adults and infants, reduces waiting times for surgical interventions and enhances diagnostic capacity. The new critical care tower includes six operating rooms, a perioperative suite, 21 ICU rooms, a 50-bed NICU, labs and a central sterile processing department.
