How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?

Both of my parents are architects. I recall seeing my mum at the drafting table, thinking that looked like a great way to spend your day. When I got older, I realised I was drawn to the spaces we interact closely with and our immediate environment. What do you do?

Commercial interiors, from workplaces to common areas in multi residential spaces. With so many forms of gathering that take place within these settings, it’s really rewarding to see them come to life once occupied.

What excites you in the work you do?

Seeing an idea take life from lines on a page to the fully formed environment. It takes a dedicated project team to ensure the original intent is not only retained, but understood by all the different stakeholders.

What is your proudest professional accomplishment or achievement?

Handing over a completed project to a client and coming back after a few months to see how the space has been inhabited. It is always rewarding to see the happy faces of residents or staff and the pride they have in their new home/workspace.
