The great designer, Dynamic PM committed to a fluid & seamless flow, Deepa is versatile Designer & Manager with 17 yrs of varied experience. Her experience includes due diligence, initial design development thr' final close out of MF, Student Housing, Senior Living & mixed-use projects, K-12 schools, County & City Projects & designing & managing Single Family residences, overseeing Construction Onsite Management of Hotel & Resort. Her latest work is Historic Rehab of a Historic Hotel to convert to Lofts.
How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?
In senior year of high school, after i ruled out engineering courses and medical field, Architecture seemed to be interesting and the journey started. Marrying an Architect, when i look back, it was meant to be.
What do you do?
I have an holistic approach from project budgeting, scheduling, code review, Site Analysis, Design Development, permitting, coordination with consultants, document setup/coordination, QC, construction administration & client coordination.
What excites you in the work you do?
A new project.

What is your proudest professional accomplishment or achievement?
Just being able to balance between home, understaning husband, loving kids and amazing work place. Everyday is an accomplishment and satisfying.

Featured Project Description:
THE MARKSON is dedicated to Dan Markson, the late pioneer of Affordable Housing of THE NRP GROUP, LLC. It is a tax credit 69 unit MF project with a clubhouse located on San Pedro Avenue within 410 loop. It is a stick frame, 4-story elevator & unconditioned corridor apartment structure. The clubhouse consists of leasing offices, Fitness Center & Children's activity, also maintenance room & trash room/chute. The exterior is ART DECO inspired Stucco finish with vertical & geometric elements.
