Bio:
The great Architect, Damon hewlin with over a decade of International design, construction, and management experience, Damon has had the opportunity to work in the United Arab Emirates market on cutting edge large scale and high-profile projects. As a registered United States Architect (Indiana) with over 20 years of experience, Damon is one of the principal’s leading design culture and managing the UAE office for Meticulous Design + Architecture. I am a Christian, a husband, a father of 3, and a bassist.
How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?
I was first exposed to architecture via the tele- vision show, The Brady Bunch. Other than that show, I did not fully understand or become aware of what architecture is until selecting the major for college. As a kid however, I always knew I would.
What do you do?
I consider myself on the life journey of being a Master Builder. Daily I am a Principal of Meticulous Design + Architecture building a global design practice and cultivating talent to execute at their highest level of excellence.
What excites you in the work you do?
Having the ability to positively impact people’s lives of our clients, communities, and the team members in our company.

What is your proudest professional accomplishment or achievement?
Becoming a licensed Architect (2006) & owning my own architecture practice (2015).
