Bio:
Demonstrating her professional acumen and commitment to providing exceptional services. Her leadership and effective management skills lead consultant teams and multi-faceted client stakeholder groups through the process of designing projects, while satisfying budgets and timelines. Renee has used her 25 yrs of experience to reinforce the values and principles of her firm. She continues to distinguish herself for exceptional customer service, designs attuned to client’s vision.
How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?
I always was creative as a little girl decorating and redirecting my room and the rest of the house. When graduating from high school I was asked what I wanted to study and having no patients Architecture started with an A.
What do you do?
I am the President of MNK Architects since 2012. I manage a team of 16 to create buildings that make a positive impact on the community for which they sit.
What excites you in the work you do? Who or what inspires you professionally?
Knowing that the buildings we design are going to influence generation after generation.

Taking over an amazing firm and continuing the legacy I was left with.

Featured Project Description:
Façade features contemporary interpretations of the original structure’s most prominent features, and build upon other similar contemporary facilities in their materials and method of interpretation to begin to develop a campus-wide aesthetic for El Paso High School. The new Fine Arts building incorporates 21st Century fine arts learning environments, with light filled spaces and volumes appropriate for choir, band, theatrical and fine arts instruction.
