CAMERON MCLEMORE
Bio:
I am a Project Coordinator at Self-Tucker Architects with experience in project designing, visualizations, project and construction management. I earned both a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architecture and Master of Architecture degrees from the University of Memphis. I have a passion for neighborhood revitalization and an interest in exploring and expressing cultural heritage through design and inclusive community engagement.
How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?
Growing up I would create cities for my Hot Wheels cars and buildings for my action figures using Legos, boxes and other things I found around the house. I took my first drafting class in middle school and I loved it. The rest is history.
What do you do?
Overall I consider myself as a creative, but I am a project coordinator by day and a music producer by night.
What excites you in the work you do? Who or what inspires you professionally?
I love having the opportunity to express my creativity and collaborate on various design solutions. We don't just design buildings, but we also create communities.
