How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?
I had always been curious and interested in architecture as a young girl, but I was convinced after my first studio at Oklahoma State University. Architecture is a profession that stimulates both the left and right side of the brain!
What do you do?
As President of a small firm, I wear a lot of hats. My typical daily role is Senior Project Manager but no matter how large or small the task is, I am always ready to roll up my sleeves and put in the work to get the job done.
What excites you in the work you do?
Our practice primarily focuses on K12 and Higher Education architectural design. It is extremely exciting because we are helping to influence educational design that has a direct impact on inspiring students to become lifelong learners.
Who or what inspires you professionally?
I am inspired by passionate people who strive to make our world a better place.
What is your proudest professional accomplishment or achievement?
Staring my own practice was a very scary endeavor but I have absolutely no regrets! I am extremely proud of the talented people that have joined the Glenn Partners family and am inspired every day by their passion and dedication to the profession!
