Who or what inspires you professionally?
Professionally I am inspired by other young creators who I see daily grinding to build our profession and their practices. I am also inspired by my father who set the foundation for my work ethic and business mindset.
AARON PATRICK CAMPBELL
Bio:
Aaron Campbell, a native Memphian, is a Designer and Principal of Aaron Patrick Architects. He holds a B.A. and Master of Architecture degree from the University of Memphis as well as NCARB and AIA accreditations. As a Designer, Aaron has had a role in local projects ranging from multifamily to the Nationally Recognized Bass Pro at the Pyramid. Aaron Campbell formed Aaron Patrick Architects in 2017 after seeing a need for a more diverse group of minority Architects in the profession.
How did you first learn about architecture and when did you decide that built environment profession was an area of interest for you?
I learned about architecture when I was a young child and realized how much I enjoyed seeing the built environment and how it shaped our city. I knew at that moment that I wanted to help shape our city through design. It has been very rewarding.

I am a licensed architect and firm Principal with Aaron Patrick Architects
What excites you in the work you do? Who or what inspires you professionally?
Architects have the ability to shape the perception of our cities through good design. I am excited to see design concepts and drawings come to life from paper and know that I had a hand in leaving my mark in this world through the built environment.
Who or what inspires you professionally? What is your proudest professional accomplishment or achievement?
Professionally I am inspired by other young creators who I see daily grinding to build our profession and their practices. I am also inspired by my father who set the foundation for my work ethic and business mindset.
What is your proudest professional accomplishment or achievement?
My proudest moment was receiving recognition for being one of the 40 under 40 Elite professionals in Memphis. Additionally, the unveiling of one of my projects to the client and seeing their positive reaction was definitely a proud accomplishment.

Featured Project Description:
The theme from the beginning of the project focused on creating a futuristic atmosphere that utilized light and technology as the basis of design. The walls and columns are adorned with custom metal panels giving the space a cool, modern aesthetic while also incorporating the use of soft backlit punched metal paneling along the ceiling and down the back wall to creating a sense of movement throughout the space. Color changing lights were added allowing dynamic colors for the game day experience.
